About

For over twenty years, I have used cinema as a means of observing, exploring and telling stories about reality. Throughout my career, I have worked as a director, screenwriter, director of photography, editor and producer, developing a comprehensive understanding of the creative process — from the birth of an idea to its encounter with an audience. The stories I choose to tell grow out of an interest in people: their vulnerabilities, their conflicts and the transformations that shape their lives.
Documentaries, short films and feature films are, for me, different languages through which to explore the same question: what remains of the experiences that define us? Over the years, I have directed both fiction films and documentaries, founded a video production company, and taught directing and film language, sharing with others my passion for visual storytelling.
My background includes a diploma in Assistant Directing from Laboratorio Cinema 87 and a postgraduate degree from the Faculty of Psychology — a path that continues to influence the way I approach character development and narrative dynamics.
I believe in a cinema capable of moving an audience without giving up reflection; of engaging without oversimplifying; of leaving the viewer with an open question rather than a definitive answer. This search continues to guide every project I undertake, turning each story into a human journey before it becomes a cinematic one.
To tell a story is to leave a trace. My cinema begins precisely with what remains.
